1793 - 9th Jul 1866
Liverpool merchant, partner in John Crosthwaite & Co. (Liverpool, q.v.) and Wulff, Brown and Company (Berbice), awarded the compensation for the enslaved people on Vryberg plantation, apparently as owner, for a further 14 enslaved people again as owner and, with others, for the enslaved people on Kilcoy as trustees of Leonora Lynch (q.v.), all in British Guiana.
T71/885 British Guiana claim nos. 99, 269 (Kilcoy) and 478 (Vryberg). British Guiana claim no. 17 identifies John Crosthwaite as of Liverpool and his local attorney as William Campbell.
