This is an inferred relationship only. The two men were very probably grandfather and grandson. Richard Lytcott Hicks Esq. (d. 1786) appears from his will to have died without issue, but the will of Ann Ram Wilson proved in 1838 identified the younger Richard Lytcott Hicks as her grandson and her daughter-in-law Fanny Hicks as the mother of the younger Richard Lytcott Hicks. Richard Lytcott Hicks had married Ann Ram Stubbin at St Marylebone in 1780. |
