T71/1608: letter, dated 27/12/1833, from Eliza W. Hay, 20 Back Wynd, Aberdeen (Scotland), stating that she has a claim 'for the small patrimony left me by my father for which his estate, now my brother's, is burdened'. Letter, dated 27/03/1835, from Oliverson, stating: Mrs E. W. Hay, of Elgin, Scotland, has a mortgage on the estate; the mortgagors are Mr Paul Steven Samuells (the brother of Mrs Hay) and Isabella Samuells, his wife.
