T71/857: claim by James Gayleard, St Catherine, executor under the will of Wm Archer. Counterclaim from inter alios Rev. Evan James, Stepney in London in right of wife owner-in-fee of one-third; but claim went to Mary Higgin, apparently through the will of Jno Higgins [sic] deceased, assignee of judgement creditor from October 1801, February 1803 and June 1803 for £9497 10s 4 1/2d.
