Sugar estate in St Elizabeth, Jamaica, from at least 1763. Owned by Isaac Allen senior from at least 1809. He died c. 1821 and by 1823 the estate was in the hands of receivers. Bought by Edward Smith by 1829. Both Isaac Allen and Edward Smith were resident in Jamaica. See also JA12025 and JA12027, both groups of enslaved people assumed to work on Breadnut Valley 1817-1823. |
