This was one of two estates (the other was Blizard's, under which the enslaved people for 1824 are entered separately) in a single entry with sub-totals. A note on p. 464 says the previous registration had been of 115 [enslaved people] by John Lindsey the then proprietor of the plantation but since then recovered in a Court of Chancery for non-payment to the purchase money.
