"JOHN RENNY-STRACHAN-CARNEGIE, Esq. of Tarrie, Angus, second son of the late Sir David Carnegie of Kinnaird, Bart., succeeded to the estates of Tarrie and Seaton, on the demise of the life-renter Mrs. Renny-Strachan, by testamentary deed of gift of Thomas Renny-Strachan, Esq., who died 20th October, 1823, without issue."
