Thomas Witter Jackson (senior) was born in London, 26/10/1776; baptised 18/11/1776 in St Andrew, Holborn, son of John Jackson and his wife Elizabeth Eleanor (nee Witter).
He had eight children with Elizabeth Martha Coakley (q.v.), all baptised in Kingston between 1804 and 1818: Marianne Jackson (1804-), Thomas Witter Jackson (1807-), Mary Ann Jackson (1807-), Elizabeth Eleanor Jackson (1813-), Jane Innes Jackson (1814-), Edward Bullock Jackson (1815-), Charles Hamilton Jackson (1817-1878), Ann Lynch Jackson (1818-).
Attorney General 1806, 1810 and 1818, Chief Justice 1818 until his death in 1821
Honble. Thomas Witter Jackson, 'Chief Justice of this island', died 13/10/1821 and was buried in Kingston, 22/08/1821.
