4th May 1795 - 18th Oct 1876
Son of Ballard Beckford Nembhard and his wife Ann Brooks. Married to Sophia Louisa Rowe (1796-1862). Awarded part of the compensation for the Hounslow estate in St Elizabeth Jamaica and under another award also in St Elizabeth Jamaica, in a capacity that remains slightly unclear. According to his father's will, the Rev. Henry Nembhard was due to inherit a 1/3 share on Hounslow on the death of his grandmother Deborah Brooks. The Hounslow estate was registered, however, against the Rev. Henry Nembhard's brother William Nembhard, who left it in 1833 to his underage son 'under the guidance of his uncle Edward Nembhard' (q.v.) without reference to Rev. Henry's interest in the estate.
