Thomas Edward Symonds

Rear Admiral in the Royal Navy, claimed unsuccessfully for the compensation for Catherine Mount in St James Jamaica as executor and devisee in trust of William Reynolds. The will of William Reynolds, planter of St James in the County of Cornwall, Island of Jamaica, had been proved 26/04/1834. Symonds's sister Sophia had married William Reynolds in Pennington, Hampshire, 15/10/1810.

1. Thomas Edward Symonds and his wife Lucinde had 10 children baptised in Boldre, Hampshire, between 1818 and 1836. In 1861, Thomas Edward Symonds aged 80 Retired Admiral Royal Navy was living with his wife Lucinde 63 born Cape Francoise [sic] St Domingo and three adult daughters (all born Boldre Hampshire) at Yeaton [sic] House, Hordle Hampshire. In 1851 the househod was essentially the same at the same address.

2. Will of Thomas Edward Symonds of Yeovilton House Milford who died 15/05/1868 proved 10/07/1868, effects under £6000.
