Living at 9 Park Street in the census of 1851, age 53, Landed Proprietor, born Norfolk, with his wife and son Frederick (age 18 born Brighton) and daughter Maria (age 12 born London) plus servants. Living at 18 Warrior Square, St Leonard's, Hastings, in the census of 1861, age 64, Landed Proprietor, born Garbolsham Hall, Norfolk, with among others his sister Lydia age 65.
"The will of Frederick Molineux Montgomerie formerly of Windsor in the County of Berks afterwards of Baker-street in the County of Middlesex but late of Warrior-square St. Leonard’s-on-Sea in the County of Sussex Esquire deceased who died 25 May 1867 at Ticehurst in the County of Sussex aforesaid was proved at the Principal Registry by the oath of Frederick Butler Molineux Montgomerie of Lincoln’s Inn in the County of Middlesex aforesaid Esquire Barrister-at-Law the Son the surviving Executor. Effects under £9,000."
