6th Sep 1782 - 2nd Aug 1836
Born 06/09/1782, of Farenough, Clarendon, Jamaica. Son of Sir George MacKenzie (1747-1815) and Anne nee Burrell (1757-1797). Died 02/08/1836 at Kingston, Jamaica. Married Mary Tabitha Rodon 18/04/1810 in Jamaica.
Owner of Jericho plantation in Clarendon, Jamaica, which he bought with a loan of £6000 from his father-in-law. See the will of George Rodon (q.v.) for more details.
At least four children, all born and baptised in Jamaica: George (baptised 1811 at Dry River), Paul (born 27/04/1812), Francis Smith (born 24/06/1813) and Mary Ann (born 02/04/1815).
Presumably he sold the Jericho at some point between 1813 (the baptism of his two youngest sons) and 1817 (when Jericho was registered to James Miller).
