  1. Richard Chambers, "White", age 35, was living in Lucea in the census of 1823. The following entry is for Alice Garrison (q.v.) who was presumably living in his household. Subsequent entries are for his wife Elizabeth (age 30) and children William Christopher (8), Elizabeth (6), Edward (4), Ann (3), Richard (1) and John (1). The neighbourhood in Lucea was dominated by Chambers relatives.
