Only child of James Chisholme of Green River and his wife Susanna. Born and baptised in Clarendon, Jamaica. Married 13/02/1802 to Charles Lord Sinclair.
Inherited a 1/10 share in Thomas's Rver, North Hall, Health Crawl and Broadland Pen in Jamaica from her uncle William Chisholme (d. 1802). Sole heiress of her father (d. 1813).

Jamaican-born widow of a prominent slave-owner; resident in Britain following the death of her husband in 1818. Accused - and acquitted - of the cruel treatment of some enslaved people whom she brought to Britain with her.
