Biography
- Will of Martin Byam of Antigua but now residing at Lyndhurst Hampshire proved 21/10/1805. Under the will he left £1000 to his wife, £2000 to his son Samuel, provided an annuity for his son Samuel (£200 p.a.) for his service as manager of the estate in Antigua, and left further monetary legacies of: £2000 to his daughter Elizabeth Muller; £1000 each to her four children; £2000 to each of his nephew William Byam and niece Louisa Byam, son and daughter of his late brother Edward Byam. He identified his brothers as William Byam and Edward Byam, and left his residual estate for life to his brother William and William's eldest son with remainder then to his nephew William Henry Byam, son of his late brother Edward.
