Widow of Thomas Tomlinson, married James Edward Burlton as her second husband.
Thomas Tomlinson esq and Charlotte Beckford Hill, spinster, were married in Westmoreland, 08/12/1808. Their son, William Storer Tomlinson, was baptised there 27/07/1810.
James Edward Burlton of Westmoreland, Esquire, married Charlotte B. Tomlinson of the same, widow, by licence, 26/03/1822. Edward James, son of James Edward Burlton and Charlotte Beckford his wife, was born 04/06/1823 and baptised 04/05/1825 in St Elizabeth, Jamaica.
Mrs Burlton and three children sailed from Black River in April 1827.
Charlotte Beckford Burlton, widow of E. Burlton, was buried at Ashton, St Elizabeth, 24/09/1858, aged 72 years.
