???? - 1819
Almost certainly Charles Moulton, husband of Elizabeth Barrett and father of Edward Barrett Moulton Barrett and Samuel Barrett Moulton Barrett (both of whom q.v.), and grandfather of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. Shown as owner of Wakefield estate in St Ann and then as deceased owner 1820-, which is consistent with the known death of Charles Moulton father of Samuel Barrett Moulton Barrettt and Edward Barrett Moulton Barrett in July 1819. Charles Moulton was active in the early 1790s as a slave factor, first alone and then with Robert Moulton, and LBS has inferred he was the Moulton of Jacques, Laing and Moulton.
