Biography

Owner of Palmiste Park, brother of Josias Jackson (q.v.). Col. Edward Jackson of St Vincent died at Lambeth in 1830.

  1. Will of Edward Jackson of Palmiste Park St Vincent proved 20/05/1833. Under the will he directed that his share of the Retreat be sold, with preference to his partner Charles Kirby as buyer, and the proceeds applied to reducing his debts. After several monetary legacies he left Palmiste Park in trust for his seven children.

  2. The burial of Edward Jackson of Lambeth aged 89 was recorded at St Anne Soho 17/06/1830.
