???? - 1859
Absentee slave-owner on St Vincent. The claimant for the Grove estate in St Vincent was shown as Henrietta Hill, and the 1831 registration for the estate was made in the name of Henrietta Gordon Hill by John Hill. The estate had been bequeathed by Robert Gordon of St Vincent (q.v.) to his grand-niece Harriet [sic] Gordon Hill, and Harriet Gordon Hill was shown as the claimant in St Vincent for the Spring estate. LBS has concluded the two were the same woman.
A monument in Clifton noted under the entry for William Hepburn jun. shows the death of H.G. Hill in 1859. Harriet or Henrietta Gordon Hill had a daughter, Henrietta J. Hill.
