Edmund Reynolds of Milford Hampshire

???? - 10th May 1801

Biography

Son of William Reynolds of Milford House, Hampshire, who bought Milford House after the death of its owner William Rickman in 1764. In the 1780s, Edmund Reynolds 'enlarged the house with Adam style wings'. He married Miss Anna Maria Rivett, eldest daughter of the late Thomas Rivett, Esquire, of Derby, 02/10/1780. Died 10/05/1801.

Edmund Reynolds makes no mention of Jamaican property in his will, but Catherine Mount in St James, Jamaica, was registered to Edmund Reynolds deceased in 1809 and 1811 and was later shown against his son William Reynolds. His father had entailed the estates to him c. 1779.
