14th Feb 1761 - 1846
Will of Jedediah Kerie of St Marylebone Middlesex proved 10/12/1846. Under the will he left his household effects for life to his wife Elizabeth Mary and then to his daughter, also Elizabeth Mary Kerie. He left £3000 to each of the children of his lately deceased son Rev. John Julius Kerie, Julius, Jane and Emma, and £9000 to his [the testator's] daughter Elizabeth Mary. He had, he said, already made some provisions for his son Jedediah on the latter's marriage and therefore left him £5000. He left £9000 in trust for his daughter Frances Calfe [?] Lovell, wife of the Rev. Edward Lovell. Under the trust established by his will, his residuary legatee for life was his wife Elizabeth Mary, after whose death the residual estate was to be divided in three among his surviving children. He confirmed an earlier settlement of 1814 of about £7500 on his wife and children. In a codicil he revoked his legacy of £3000 to each of his two grand-daughters and replaced it with an annuity of £100 p.a. each.
Born 14/02/1761, son of Ravel and Elizabeth Kerie. Married Elizabeth Mary (Nancy) Julius, date unknown. Described as of St Kitts in the will of William Crooke (written 1805).
