London merchant, of Isleworth, father of Priscilla Franks and grandfather of Lady Isabella Ball or Bell Cooper (both of whom q.v.). In his will made and proved in 1777, Aaron Franks left in trust for the benefit of his daughter Priscilla the one-third of the Duckingfield [sic] Hall estate he said he had 'lately purchased of Sir George Colebrooke baronet', together with the enslaved people upon it, and all his other [unspecified] real estate in Jamaica. He forgave his son-in-law Moses Franks the £40,000 the latter owed to him.
