Son of Baijer Otto Baijer (d. 1737) and Frances nee Oliver (later Murray), and father of Baijer Otto Baijer (d. 1839, q.v.).
- Will of John Otto Bayer of St Thomas the Apostle Devon proved 01/07/1791. He left his wife Sarah an annuity of £250 p.a. and £1000 each to his six daughters: Anne wife of Thomas Oke of Devon; Edith Otto Baijer; Fanny wife of William Cazell [given as Cazea in the will]; Mary Williams widow; Elizabeth Otto Baijer; and Barbara, wife of Robert Patch. Subject to the annuity and the monetary legacies, he left his estate to his only son Baijer Otto Baijer.
