One of the natural children of George Cruden of Suriname and Jane Rose Cruden the elder, a "free mulatto". Named in the will of George Cruden, written in 1818 and proved in 1822.
Jane Roze [sic] Cruden appears in the compensation records for Surinam in 1863 as the owner of two enslaved people (her sister Katherine Rose Cruden owned 21 enslaved people in Suriname at this time).
