Biography

Partner in Watson & Appleton, a slave-factor at Montego Bay for several voyages between 1795 and 1807: George Watson and William Appleton were linked as the executors of another Jamaica slave-factor, Ralph Parkinson (q.v.) in his will made in 1805. Separately George Watson of Montego Bay was the executor of Ralph Parkinson's nephew Matthew Parkinson (q.v.) in the latter's will made in 1813. To date George Watson has has not been traced further by LBS.
