One of the reputed children of John Fairbairn (q.v.), bequeathed ownership of one enlsaved person, John Louis, in the will of his father (written in 1820 and proved in 1821). George Fairbairn registered ownership of one enslaved person in Grenada in 1821 so presumably was of full age at that time. He also registered as guardian of his brother Thomas.
