Born 12/03/1771 and baptised 15/03/1771 at Urray, Ross-shire, Scotland. Living at 4 Royal Circus in the census of 1851, age 75, born Scotland, unmarried, with 2 male and 3 female servants. The will of Sir Alexander Mackenzie of the City of Bath, baronet, a General in her Majesty's service was written in 1848 and proved in 1853.
Not to be confused with Sir Alexander Mackenzie of Tarbat and Royston, a Captain in the East India Service, son of Katharine Mackenzie nee Sutherland (q.v.) and brother of Robert Mackenzie (q.v.).
