Biography

Daughter of William Stirling of Keir and Cawder (1725-1793). "Kept house at Keir for her brothers, James and Archibald, for about fifty years." died at Keir 01/03/1842. Awarded part of the compensation for Hampden and Kerr estates in St James, Jamaica, as one of the heirs of her brother Robert (1772-1808). It's not clear whether Robert left her a share of the estate or whether she was awarded compensation as part of an unpaid legacy.
