In 1861 he was living, 'Landed and funded proprietor', aged 49 at 9 Queen Road West Regents Park with his 3 daughters and one of his sons. Will of John Spooner late of 54 Regents Park Road who died 25/06/1866 proved 11/07/1866 by Jane Gordon Spooner spinster one of the executors, effects under £6000.
