Awarded part of the compensation for the enslaved people on Plantation Everton in British Guiana.

  1. Marriage of Robert Belcher Esq. of Henley to Mary Sheldrake Kemmery [sic] 20 May 1820.

  2. Death of Robert Belcher Henley registered Q2 1840; will of Robert Belcher of Henley proved 08/10/1840. The will is very brief and makes his wife Mary universal legatee and executrix.

  3. Death of Mary Sheldrake Belchen [sic] registered Henley on Thames Q3 1847; will of Mary Sheldrake Belcher of Henley-upon-Thames Oxfordshire proved 09/10/1847.

  4. Robert Belcher was executor in 1819 for Matthew Belcher, brandy merchant of Fore Street Limehouse, and for his wife's uncle Colonel John Sheldrake (q.v.), a Berbice slave-owner.
