Martha P. Bayard formerly Norris (née Moffatt)

Daughter of Andrew Moffatt and sister of Elizabeth Mills (the mother of Andrew Moffatt Mills).

1. Will of Martha Bayard widow of St George Hanover Square proved 27/06/1823. In her will she left her moiety of Elgin Hall, Blenheim and Cranbrook estates to her children, Adolphus Moffatt Bayard, Edward Kent Leopold Bayard and Matilda Eliza Bayard, subject to the mortgages on the estates and especially those in which she held an interest in her own right one of the next of kin of John Moffatt.

2. Matilda Eliza [Moffatt] Bayard married Alexander William Robert Bosville: their daughter Julia Louisa married Henry Willoughby, 8th Baron Middleton, and was granted administration of the effects of her uncle Edward Kent Leopold Bayard when he died of St Paul's Square Holgate Lane, York in 1872 leaving £200.
