[Size] 431 Joseph Osborne Bruce of St. James and his wife Jane Bruce, née Barwick the only child and heir of Samuel Barwick deceased, Anthony Laroque of St. James and his wife Frances Laroque, formerly the wife of Samuel Barwick, deceased, née Adams, daughter of Conrade Adams the elder, deceased, sold to William Ford of St. Peter, merchant, for £22,475, the Lancaster plantation of 431 acres. There were 99 enslaved people.

[Size] 408 William Ford, owner of Lancaster plantation, had incurred debts on the plantation: £382 to James Conrade Bruce et al, sons of Joseph O. Bruce; £1,017 to Robert Ewing; £2,772 to William Moore. Ford then mortgaged the estate to Thomas Daniel of Bristol to pay the debts.
