Grace Jarvis

Unsuccessful counterclaimant for compensation for Thibou's estate based on arrears of jointure due to her mother Mary Elizabeth Shepherd Freeman Jarvis (q.v.). Sister of Mary Wilhelmina Jarvis and half-sister of Bertie Entwistle Jarvis (both q.v.). Most of the compensation for Thibou's was awarded to her aunt Christiana Richardson (q.v.) for her prior claim for an annuity from the estate of Grace's paternal grandfather Thomas Jarvis (1722-1785). Her maternal grandmother was Rachel Thibou (1728-1795).

1. Born in 1804, the daughter of Thomas Jarvis (1750-1805) and his second wife Mary Elizabeth Shepherd Freeman Jarvis. In the compensation records she was 'of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire' though no trace of her has been found in the censuses.
