Biography

Claimed unsuccessfully for Blizards, Marble Hill and Thibou's on Antigua.

Son of Thomas Jarvis (1750-1805) and his first wife Jane Whitehead (1764-1797). Nephew of Christiana Richardson and half-brother of Mary Wilhelmina Lindsay and Grace Jarvis (all q.v.). Two letterbooks of Bertie Entwisle Jarvis are kept in the Jarvis family papers at the University of Michigan.
Will of Bertie Entwisle [sic] Jarvis late of Antigua who died at sea 15/10/1862 proved 12/03/1863, effects under £35,000.
