Claimed unsuccessfully for Blizards, Marble Hill and Thibou's on Antigua.
Son of Thomas Jarvis (1750-1805) and his first wife Jane Whitehead (1764-1797). Nephew of Christiana Richardson and half-brother of Mary Wilhelmina Lindsay and Grace Jarvis (all q.v.). Two letterbooks of Bertie Entwisle Jarvis are kept in the Jarvis family papers at the University of Michigan.
