Biography

Owner of Blenheim in Manchester until his death c. 1832. Married to Sarah Brooks nee Wright (q.v.) and father of George Brooks (q.v.) who inherited the bulk of his estate. In his will dated 10/06/1831 he reportedly said 'My debts heavy and West India property much deprec[i]ated.'
