Co-owner of Spring Valley, with her sisters Jane Thomson and Mary Stewart (the latter the wife of Robert Stewart), and widow of George Harrison Cosens (q.v.). She moved to Britain shortly before her death in Exeter in December 1821.
Marriage "At Robertsfield plantation, in Port-Royal mountains on the 16th inst. by the Rev. Edward Marshall, George Harrison Cosens, Esq. of St George's, to Grace, second daughter of Archibald Thompson, late of this city."
Will of Grace Cosens of Kingston Surrey [Jamaica] proved 10/03/1823. She left her one-third share of Spring Valley in trust for her sister Jane Thomson to take the income (as long as she remained unmarried) until Grace Cosens' daughter Jane Mary Cosens reached 21, when the share would go to her.
