Annuitant on the Cleland and Farm estates of the Cumberbatch family in Barbados, claimed unsuccessfully but apparently agreed a settlement with the other claimants. Daughter of Elizabeth Frere (daughter of Hon. John Frere) and Samuel Estwick. Her annuity was attributed to a deed of 1829 in the compensation records for Cleland.
T71/899 Barbados claim nos. 4612 (Cleland) and 4948. Kenneth E. Ingram Manuscript sources for the History of the West Indies p. 125 shows an indenture, 'a declaration of trust of the compensation monies' for The Farm, between Abraham and Caroline Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Susannah Jones and the trustees of the marriage settlement of Abraham and Caroline Cumberbatch dated 06/04/1837.
