Research synopsis
My project focuses on studying the changes in cell and tissue morphology that occur in response to injury, driving tissue repair, and how the mechanical properties of a tissue and its environment regulate this process. To do this I use an interdisciplinary approach, combining different model systems (D. melanogaster and mouse organoids), experimental biophysics, confocal microscopy and computational modelling.
