Research synopsis
I work on the coordination between mitochondrial function and trafficking in the context of cellular health and its perturbations. My main focus is on the mitochondrial trafficking protein Miro and its interaction with a dually targeted mitoribosomal protein, involved in OXPHOS machinery production and possibly other cellular processes.
