George Kibblewhite

Biography

  1. Son of William Kibblewhite and his wife Eleanor nee Barrett. The family lived 'in modest circumstances' although James Kibblewhite later became an MP and controlled the Parliamentary seat of Wootton Bassett.

  2. George was articled to his brother James at Gray's Inn 06/11/1804.

  3. Trustee of the marriage settlement of his sister Lucy Kibblewhite to James Sadler, owner of Weyhill estate in St Mary, Jamaica; George Kibblewhite in 1832 but the remaining trustees received compensation for the enslaved people living on Weyhill.

  4. Burial of George Kibblewhite at Liddiard-Millicent, Wiltshire, 06/08/1832.
