Ann Edie, daughter of Eizabeth Freeman Ripley, "a [free] mulatto woman", by Ebenezer Edie, baptised in Kingston with three of her five siblings in 1802. Bequeathed a quarter share in Hermitage estate in St Andrew, Jamaica, by her mother who died between 1826 and 1829. Hermitage was sold within a few years of Elizabeth's death.
Ann Edie registered enslaved people in St Andrew in 1832, six of whom were acquired "by will of E. F. Ripley".
