4A: £541 3s 7d went to the Metcalf(e)s and Davis, dated 28/03/1836.

4B: £349 17s 7d went to Stewart, Paterson and Bremner, dated 01/08/1836.

4C: £10 18s 2d went to Wm. and Esther Hughes, dated 17/04/1837.  

T71/881: claim by Elizabeth Metcalfe, tenant for life, for 3/5ths of the enslaved persons, and by Wm. Hughes and Esther Hughes (his wife), executor and executrix of Tho. Sharples, for 2/5ths of the enslaved persons. Counterclaim from D.S. Laidlaw, Adam Paterson and James Laing Bremner, of Roseau, merchants, mortgagee on 2/5ths.
