T71/880: claim by John Goodson, as mortgagee in possession. Counterclaim from Henry Edward Sharpe, Attorney General of Barbadoes, as judgement creditor. Replication by John Goodson, 'of Great Winchester St., City of London'. Counterclaim from 'Mary Ann Scott of the Lodge nr Taunton, Somerset, spinster & the countess Emma Scott, city of Paris, spinster, and John Wright of Henrietta Street Garden, Middlesex and Thomas Norris of Lincoln's Inn Gentleman who is also agent for the rest', as 'creditors in respect of legacies under will of Michael Scott'. Counterclaims also from Wilhelmina Law, of 48 Grande Rue Boulogne-sur-mer, and William Alexander Law, of Fort William Bengal, Gent., by his attorney Wilhelmina Law, as 'Cestui Que Trust' under the will of William Law - £1500 for annuity and one-third, respectively. Replication by John Goodson versus H.E. Sharpe, 'Stating that his claim is founded on Mortgage securities preferent to any claim of said HES and amounting to more than the whole compensation'. Counterclaim from Sir Wm. Young, of Upper Wimpole St., Middlesex, who 'claims the legal estate in the premises under Indres of 30th and 31st July 1822'. Attempted counterclaim from Alex. Lamb of Moorford [?] Cottage. The agent was Brooksbank & Co.
