T71/896: No claim was made. Counterclaim from James Gordon, of Madeira; James Gordon Duff, of London; Wm Henry Ingliss, of London; and James Bean, of Madeira. All were creditors by judgement and execution, dated 27/08/181. The claim was for £618 5s 0/2d sterling. It is unclear whether three there other than James Gordon Duff were in fact unsuccessful, or whether James Gordon Duff was awarded the compensation on their behalf.
