T71/892: claim by Christopher Punnett, owner-in-fee. Counterclaims from: (1) John Chambers, of Letterkenny, Co. Donegal in Ireland, representative of Brook Rynd, deceased, mortgagee; (2) Wm Fraser etc as mortgagees; (3) John Vernon of Vernons in Antigua and of Boulogne sur Mer, tenant for life in possession and tenant-in-tail. One counterclaim by John Vernon ruled inadmissible by the Assistant Commissioners. Replication by Christopher Punnett to counterclaim of John Vernon, stating 20 years undisturbed possession etc. Appeal by Justinian Vernon to Privy Council, dismissed on 25/02/1841, filed on 09/06/1841.
