Counterclaim from Edward Whitmore, John Wells etc, of Lombard St, London, bankers and co-partners, mortgagees by virtue of an agreement dated 12/1/1836 for £2600. The counterclaim was admitted, power of attorney granted by Andrew Mackintosh, to allow Whitmore and Wells to collect the compensation.
