T71/1610: letter, dated 28/10/1835, from Tilsons Squance, stating that the late A.H. Walstat, of Demerara, left his son all his property in the event of him turning 25. The executors were Cornelis Revers and George Rainey. George Rainey refused to act and Koolhaas stepped in. Walstat had instructed the executors to liquidate the estate and send the money to Joseph Marryatt, as executor in Europe and guardian of the infant son. The son will turn 25 on 27/08/1835: who will you pay the money to?
T71/430 p. 763: A.H. Walstat registered 52 enslaved persons on De kindere estate, as executor to Widow Alidey.
