Portrait of Admiral Sir Benjamin Caldwell. In his will proved in 1848, the Rev. George Caldwell specified that the portrait of his uncle should not be sold by his son William Browne Caldwell unless to his relative [in fact, his cousin] Charles Andrews Caldwell. It is possible that this is the portrait now in possession of the National Maritime Museum, BHC 2594.
