A notice in the Caledonian Mercury advertised the estate for sale in the Chancery case George Baillie and others v. Farquhard Campbell. Situated in the parishes of St George and Charlotte and quarter of Mariaqua, four miles from Stubbs Bay and six from Calliaqua Bay, a sugar estate of 506 1/2 acres and 236 enslaved people (including 8 carpenters, 6 coopers and 3 masons).
