Notes

Established by John Williams sometime before 1671. Under his Will of that year, the plantation was bequeathed to his brother, Richard Williams, who owned it until at least 1693. By 1721 it was the ownership of Guy Ball of Christ Church who, in 1722, bequeathed it to his eldest son, Richard Ball. Guy Ball died heavily in debt and much of his estate including enslaved people were sold.
